Thank you for this post DR
I have tested all Windows OS, but I can't find Windows 7 Home Basic x64 anywhere. Is it out?
If it is, please help me to get it.

i guess ill stick with home premium , it shud be ligtweight ( less hdd space ) and with no any special features

I have 3 systems my self.
1. Ultimate on my Desktop (I like to test)
2. ACER AOA 150 has Home Premium. (basically use and never lacking)
3. Acer AOA with Ultimate.(sisters) - shes greedy
4. I simply depends on what you USE. Home Premium has everything the average needs-wants-uses.
5. I also have a Still not upgraded Vista Home Premium..
Home is a little short and Ultimate is slightly over -
home premium is just about right.

There is a way to install a language pack on Win7 Professional and other versions.
I did have the English AIO version. And downloaded the Dutch language pack, and changed it with the use of cmd and regedit.

i think i will wait 22october, cuz just games now in my xp sp3 abot 10, so i will no just install it again and search when i need put saved parts of them, so after 22october or some latter will mb new official builds, i will take something like ultimate, no cuz i will use even 30% of services of it, just no whana after launch some aplication read like this, ur version of os cannot be used for this software, so first of i make i install full version like enterprise or ultimate, and after close much services, and open it when i will need, and i think in ultimate pro or enterprice moduls, much compatible and stable than home, cuz first made full os and testing this with all need processes, and after building pro home etcetera official tiny builds, and when they do this they can kill something what will need, and after will service pack1 service pack2 etc, so better take all and made tiny version by ur own hands, than take tiny what never will adult

Well I wouldn't waiste my money on buying any of them. When you can have them all with a Technet subscription for $261 US. There is coupons out there for a discount on Technet subscription. That would definitely get you the biggest bang for your buck! If you don't plan on buying Windows 7 then you know where you can get it from.
But that's our secret!

i ve got a legal oem license of vista home premium about 3 years ago when i bought a new pc , been using it for a month or too , once the system got crashed i tried to reinstall it from a disc the pack has and it failed , probably the disck was corrupted so i cud not even do a clean install
it was 3 years ago and i had vista intsalled for abot 2 months , been sure that i just lost my money , never wanted to swithc to vista from xp
now there might be a chance to upgrate my vista lise to seven , that wud be great , i seem dont need any bit lockers , home groups , even xp mode , all i need is nice looking , big on performance os so i guess that home premium is suits to most of the users perfectly
if u need no nothing u choose home premium
if u wud like to use xp mode u go with pro
===========================
btw there is a chance to get a legal copy of home premium from microsoft just for 30 usd if u managed to fool or prove them that r are a student ( easely if u got a mail adress like mail @ education. org )
