I should have stuck with AMD.
I can't believe that I can't use this Windows XP Mode thing. I upgraded my system a little while back from an AMD 6000+ Dual Core to an Intel Q8200 Quad. Now I find that this processor is not compatible with this XP Mode. The first time in 15 years that I have used an Intel based chip and I find that it's already let me down. I should have stuck with AMD.
Hmm, Well I've got a Phenom 9950 on a Gigabyte GA-M750SLI-DS4 motherboard with virtualisation enabled and the Virtual PC and XP mode doesn't work for me either.
I Have A Intel Core2Duo CPU 2.2Ghz E4500Is it compatible for XP Mode

I have an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 cpu and there is no such thing as VT in the BIOS. The manual shows it but whe I check the BIOS itself - not there. Must take only certain BIOS to get it.
For the person that has the Quad Core Intel Q8200. go to your Bios and enable VT . Windows XP mode needs VT turned on
